Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine (Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine), leveraging its brand advantagesresources as a physical hospital, initiated the construction of its Internet hospital on May 20, 2017, to create a distinctively TCM-oriented "Internet +" medical platform. On August 27, 2019, it became one of the first hospitals in Jiangsu Province to obtain an Internet operation license.

The hospital has opened 34 departments, including cardiologygastroenterology, with more than 400 doctors providing online consultations for commonchronic diseases. These services include daytimenighttime cloud outpatient consultations, "TCM Specialty Disease Cloud Clinics,""Text & Image Consultations."

Relying on the Internet hospital platform, the hospital has established long-term remote consultation collaborations with more than 20 institutions across China, including Xinjiang, Qinghai,Guizhou. The platform transcends timespace constraints, extending its services to over 30 countries, including the UK, Hungary, Australia,Canada, offering specialized TCM international remote consultations to make high-quality TCM resources accessible worldwide.

Additionally, the hospital utilizes the "Internet +" platform to conduct international remote TCM education. It has established long-term academic collaborations with institutions such as the Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (YSU), Shulan College of AcupunctureChinese Medicine,AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine，These partnerships aim to jointly cultivate overseas TCM professionalsbuild an academic exchange platform for Chinese medicine.
