Cohen, a leading scholar in international metabolic disease research from Harvard Universitycurrently Director of the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, was invited as a distinguished speaker. Joining him were Professor Zhou Xiqiao, Director of the Department of Endocrinology at Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine; Professor Liu Lanying, Deputy Director (presiding over work) of the Department of AcupunctureRehabilitation; and Professor Qiao Fei, Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases. Exciting News! Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine Recognized as One of the First National TCM Service Export Bases

To expand the export of TCM servicesaccelerate the high-quality development of TCM service trade, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine launched a certification program for national TCM service export bases. Following recommendations from provincial commerceTCM regulatory authorities, expert evaluations, comprehensive assessments,public announcements, Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine was officially recognized as one of the first national TCM service export bases in November 2019.Yu Wenming, the president of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Wang Bingnan, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Commerce, presented certificates to 17 units recognized in this first batch, with our hospitals president Zhai Yuxiang attending the ceremony.In recent years, under the guidance of the Ministry of Commercethe National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with the support from Jiangsu Provincial TCM Administration, Jiangsu Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office,Overseas Chinese Federation, Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine has implemented the national "BeltRoad" initiative.
